When a doll head is replaced does the hair come in the original style?

Will Kirsten come back with her braids looped with the original ribbons? Or will they be looped without the ribbons? Just braided? Not even braided?

Thanks. I am thinking about getting Addy's head replaced because her hair is a bit messed up, but I won't be able to tie her ribbon, and if they don't do that- I don't want to forfit a PM head for a not "mint" head, because I won't be able to do it myself.

Yes, the Historical doll will come back with its original hair style. Kirsten with the two loops, Molly with her braids, etc... This also goes with the LE dolls too. They sent Lindsey back with her original hair style. And a nice blue bow on her hair too!

Is her hair all frizzy, or does it just need styling? You might just send her for a wellness visit, and get her hair brushed, without sacrificing a PM head.

Yes if you send a historical or LE in for a new head thier hair will come back in it's original style AND having it's original ribbons. My Kirsten came back with the woven blue ribbons and Felicity with the ivory satin one. Addy came back both with the hairstyle and having the hairnet over it.

If you decide to get a new head just for the hairstyle , then send the doll in headless(or with a note asking them to return the old one) If you don't like the new head you can always go back that way.

oh, headless is a good idea.

She needs some styling help, but also her earrings have turned green. I won't send her for a long while, I was just wondering.

You may want to call and ask if they will replace the head for free since the earrings have turned green. That is not normal. Even the really messed up older Addy I had, did not have green earrings. I'd think it would have to be a defect for that to happen.

Just curious. Someone mentioned sending a doll to the AG hospital headless, would they accept this?

Since the rule is that they won't replace a head with a different head, how would they know what the original head is if the doll is sent in headless?

    Thanks!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Unless you are asking for something ridiculus (LE, a head that is a differant color etc) Then generally they will trust you and put whatever head you ask and pay for.
